Thoughts about Chapter Six

 You just finished an important chapter in the main story. It may not have seemed to be of great importance, but you will see how critical it will become as the rest of the story unfolds. I truly hope that all of you have enjoyed the book so far. I certainly have enjoyed writing it.
   I want to thank all of you again for following along. That means a great deal to me. I passed  500 views during this chapter and that was a pleasant surprise for me. There aren't a lot of you following along, but there are certainly more than I expected to find staying with me. I suspect that most of you have some direct or indirect connection to me, but I think there might be some who are strangers to me too.
   I don't know why all of you are following along, but I want to encourage all of you to tell other people about this. The more people I can get interested in this the better. That is for two different reasons. The first is simply that I need to be able to show publishers that people are interested in the book. The second and the one that matters even more to me is that regardless of whether I ever get the book published I will still be getting the message out.
   That is what matters to me... the message of faith. Sometimes I wonder if I should be so determined to get a message about something so personal out there, but it truly matters to me. Faith is the message I am hoping and trying to share with all of you. Faith is the one and I believe the only thing that truly matters in our lives. And not just having faith, but having faith in the one and only true God. That matters far more than anything else in this world will ever matter. We can have great faith, but it can be in the wrong things and that is worse in many ways than not having any faith at all. That is why trying to get people to think about faith and God are what matter the most to me as I am writing.
  I would be lying if I said I wouldn't love to become a best selling author and make lots of money, but I would also be lying if I told you that was the only reason I write or even the main one. Thanks again for reading along as I share this story of faith with you. I hope you can find it in your hearts to share it with others too, so that I can share this message with more people.
   Faith matters, but unless you are willing to share it with even the strangers you meet I think it misses the real mark. Help me hit the mark. Help me share this message about faith and God with strangers. Strangers that I can only meet with your help.
